In this presentation, Tiffany Bell, the editor of the Agnes Martin Catalogue Raisonné and a co-curator of the Guggenheim's Agnes Martin retrospective, explores how her research for the Martin catalogue raisonné illuminated stylistic shifts that occurred throughout the artist’s career. These discoveries led to a better understanding of the thematic changes in Martin’s work over the course of her life and informed the presentation of the retrospective.
The program concludes with a reception and exhibition viewing.
