The New York Public Library will host the event Art Talks: Sol LeWitt’s Wall Drawings on February 20, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in honor of the release of the Sol LeWitt Wall Drawings Catalogue Raisonné, the most comprehensive publication of the revered twentieth-century artist’s work to date. The event will take place in the Celeste Auditorium in the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building at 476 Fifth Avenue (42nd St and Fifth Ave).

Lindsay Aveilhé, Editor, and Chris Vacchio, Director of Research, of Sol LeWitt Wall Drawings are joined by artist Pat Steir, Susan Cross, Senior Curator of Visual Arts at MASS MoCA and co-editor of Sol LeWitt: 100 Views(MASS MoCA; Yale University Press, 2009), and John Hogan, Mary Jo and Ted Shen Installation Director and Archivist for Sol LeWitt Wall Drawings at Yale University Art Gallery, to discuss the publication and reflect on the lasting importance of the artist’s body of work.

Register for a free ticket here. Priority will be given to those who have registered in advance, but registration does not guarantee admission. All registered seats are released shortly before start time, and seats may become available at that time. A standby line will form one hour before the program.
