Carina Evangelista, Editor of the Chuck Close Catalogue Raisonné, is guest curator of Special Project: Sol LeWitt at Art Fair Philippines, which takes place February 21-23, 2020.

The project features two wall drawings: Wall Drawing #869A and Wall Drawing #1217. The latter, LeWitt’s only exclusively text-based work, is made up of the phrase "These words are written on the wall," with the language determined by location. At Art Fair Philippines, the phrase will be appear in Filipino, English, Baybayin, and M’ranaw.

On Sunday, February 23, from 1-2:30 p.m., Evangelista presents the talk "Sol LeWitt: The Idea Becomes a Machine that Makes the Art" and discusses LeWitt and conceptual art alongside contemporary Filipino artists Poklong Anading, Ringo Bunoan, Lena Cobangbang, Gary-Ross Pastrana, and Gerardo Tan.
